Quick and Easy Dinner Rolls

These are the easiest rolls I have ever made and several of you have asked me for the recipe so here it is! They take about 2 hours from start to finish and I got this recipe from Janae Bingham (my sister-in-law)

2 1/4 c. very warm water
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbls. yeast
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 Tbls. oil
6 c. flour

Mix water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top of the water and DO NOT STIR! Cover with a cloth and wait until the yeast is bubbly (about 10 minutes). Stir in oil, salt, and 5 c. of flour (one cup at a time until mixed). Knead in remaining flour for about 10 minutes. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Punch dough down and form into balls about the size of an egg. (Hint: use Pam on your hands to keep the dough from sticking to your fingers). Place on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise another 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Rub warm rolls with butter.

Yummy!! I just made them tonight and they are SO good with some butter and raspberry jam :)
